"Hummingbirds and Flowers"

Because of COVID-19 the West Houston Quilter’s Guild Quilt Show scheduled for March 4-5, 2021, was cancelled. Some tickets for the Donation Quilt were given to members at the February 2020 guild meeting. However, all large gatherings were cancelled by the county before end of March 2020. The Berry Center, venue for the quilt show, did not issue a contract for the 2021 quilt show because of the uncertainty of large group gatherings which continued well into 2021.

WHQG has decided to use the tickets printed for the 2021 Quilt Show for the 2023 Quilt Show, March 3-4, 2023, changing the date for the drawing on the tickets. Any tickets that had been sold since the shutdown will remain in the ticket pool and be eligible to win the Donation Quilt.
